CERTDOLOMITI

Certdolomiti has been set up on 11th February 2021 and it stems from the expertise of Certottica (Italian Notified Body for the Certification of Optical Products) founded in the early 90s, and Dolomiticert (Italian Notified Body for the Certification of PPE from head to foot).

The two EU Notified Bodies accredited for the CE marking for PPE, have founded Certdolomiti, a company set up to issue Type examination certificates for UKCA marking which has been accredited by UKAS according to EN17065 with number 23149 and as Approved Body by BEIS with number 8503 to certify PPE according to Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment as brought into UK law and amended.

M.101.2.004 Declaration of impartiality of the management

Obtaining Type examination certificates for UKCA marking, issued by an Approved Body such as Certdolomiti, is mandatory before the placing on the market of Category II and III Personal Protective Equipment in Great Britain.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE PPE CERTIFICATION - REQUEST FOR AN OFFER

To request an offer for the certification of a product, the data collection form must be completed and sent to Certdolomiti.

The form can be requested to Certdolomiti’s Sales Department, specifying the type of device you are interested in.

Following the acceptance of the quotation by the Sales Department, the following must be sent to Certdolomiti:

  • the samples to be tested (in case it is necessary to have test performed)
  • the UKCA Type-Examination Application
  • the technical documentation of the product

Together with the samples to be tested, the type-examination application must be sent to Certdolomiti, which can be asked for to the Sales Department or downloaded below:

Together with the Application for UKCA type-examination, you shall also send the Technical Documentation of your product including all information listed in the file below, in compliance with Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment as brought into UK law and amended:
